The Department of Eductation requires us to check the accuracy of the informaiton you provided on your FAFSA form and to resolve any conflicting informaiton. Asset data, along with other FAFSA data, is considered a "snapshot" of a family's information as of the date it is signed. The FAFSA can only be updated in certain circumstances.

1) Asset questions on the FAFSA were left blank and, according to previous information we have received from you, assets are required in order to complete the 2025-2026 FAFSA.

2) Parent asset information was changed on the 2025-2026 FAFSA form.

3) Your 2025-2026 FAFSA did not list related assets and/or parent 2023 Federal Income Tax Return information indicated income and/or loss from one or more of the following:

* Interest and/or dividend income
* Rents, Royalties, partnerships, S-Corporations, estates, trusts, etc
* Business or Farm Investment
Total Value of Parent Cash, Savings, and Checking Accounts
Net Worth of Investments (Examples include stocks, bonds, CD's, trust funds, UGMA, UTMA, money markey, mutual funds, Educational savings fund - for student.)
Net Worth of Other Real Estate (Include investment property, portion of a multi family that the family does not live in, vacation property)
Explaination of Change
If an error occurred when the FAFSA was originally completed and you went back to correct it, please explain the error (ex. removing primary residence, removing retirement account, correcting mistyped figure). Write N/A if no change was made to an amount.
